As black people we all know the history and contemporary realities of racism in medicine. We also know that vaccines have saved millions of lives. Both are true and are in no way contradictory.
Surely we are capable of assessing the pros and cons and making rationale, informed decisions? I know I have and I've been doubled jabbed. Those who refuse vaccination will just prolong the agony.
When the stakes are either wholesale death or temporary restrictions on your liberties then the choice is obvious. #Covid19UK
