We so rarely get the opportunity to celebrate and thank those around us who are pushing the boundaries of excellence and demonstrating the highest commitment to community empowerment. It is of critical importance that we reinforce positive in our lives, in a climate that can often be hostile. I think it's literally a matter of self-care, because it's so important that we associate with those who have their eyes on the prize, whose heads are lifted up, and whose ethical commitment to community is unquestionable.
