The cuts are going to hit black women twice as hard - BARAC supports the demonstrate organised by Women Against the Cuts and calls on BARAC members to come along and demonstrate to mark International Women's Day.

Come along to Trafalgar Square on March 8th to celebrate International Women’s Day and protest against the outrageous attacks on all areas of public services by the ConDem Government and highlight the disproportionate impact of the cuts on all women.
There will be chanting, singing, music and speakers – confirmed so far are:

Women Against the Cuts are a group of women from diverse backgrounds who have come together to fight the government cuts from a feminist perspective. We will create actions and give voice to women’s opposition to the discriminatory, unfair and unnecessary cuts and we invite all women who oppose the cuts to join us.
