Britain: A victim of incompetence, hubris and austerity. A political obituary for Boris Johnson.

This reads like a political obituary.

This is simply an explosive SundayTimes article you must read. It demonstrates how, we the country were let down by the unique combination of gross incompetence, unbelievable hubris and a decade of Tory austerity.
Now, this is a very long read, however, the truth is complex and in order to become enlightened as to precisely why we are in the position we are in the over 15,000 deaths, whilst in Germany, there are less than 500, then you need to read this story.
Take your time, digest the detail and arm yourself with clear objective facts.
So if there's one thing you need to do today, it's to find a comfortable chair get yourself a couple of green tea and a couple of pieces toast (wholemeal) take a deep breath and read this Sunday Times article which details the staggering criminal and tragic incompetence of Boris Johnson, UK Prime Minister Matt Hancock Public Health England #ProfChrisWhitty Chief Medical Officer
I personally can see no way in which this government can survive this article and the responsibility the bear that the deaths of tens of thousands of people, however, unless there is a vote of no confidence in this government, I can see no way in which these grossly incompetent criminals can be removed, but removed they must be, for is the first duty of government to protect the people, there is no greater priority and on this single most important issue, this government has been found to be criminally responsible for the greatest loss of life ever experienced in British post-war political history.
I've long argued that politics is a life-and-death matter largely unsuccessfully it has to be said, and I've often been dismissed with the retort that whatever we do politically nothing ever changes, the system remains the same.

Boris perfectly captured.

This virus has demonstrated the dangerously irresponsible nature of that claim, and as we see how the nation is ill-prepared for what confronts it and what is yet to come. politics is what makes the difference between where we are and where Germany and South Korea are right now. Politics is why some people are a line, and some people are dead.

This must be a tragic lifelong lesson, learned at enormous cost for the entire country and the country and entire world economies and politics can never ever be the same again. It's time for a brand-new politic, one that is intelligent, compassionate and visionary creating a society that values people over profits, is focused on saving the planet and investing in people.

This is the fundamental principle, contained in the theologies of every major faith, "love thy neighbour as you would love thyself", an article of faith that is repeated deep in theological scriptures of every major world religion, and a principal that must now drive this new global politics.

There is no revolution security or safety one country alone, biological security, good health, security and safety has to be global and has to deliver the principle that it is a fundamental human right to access food, security, education, housing and health care.

For if the poorest people of the world are forced to eat whatever is around, suffer for the want of education, as a consequence of their abject poverty, then the entire world including the glimmering citadels of the now deadly silent cathedrals of capitalism, will succumb to the unseen enemy of virulent biological virus providing an existential threat to the existence of the human race.

We cannot escape this global crisis without saving the poorest people in the world, we are all now linked by the common threat which is our common humanity, also acceptable to the rampant virus that threatens the planet. Unless we take care of the least of us, those right now in Africa, in Latin America in south-east Asia, the billions of the global poor living in unsanitary conditions on less than two dollars a day, then we will all suffer the inevitable fate of our supreme selfishness.

There can be no going back to business as before, there can be no return to the politics of the market, of greed and avarice triumphing over love and compassion.

Having been an activist of some 40 years who has consistently banged the drum on the issues informed by the principals of justice, love and compassion I intend to play my part in continuing to drive these issues home and establish politics so essential for our survival.

Enough from me If you want to help construct the politics of the future then I'd be glad to hear from you. I want to work with others in unprecedented ways, to make a difference. The universe principle, the has never been more important, the more we are together the happier we will be.

Now do yourself a favour and read the article. #BorisJohnson #CovidVirus #Pandemeic #MattHancock #BorisResign
